The Ceylon Restaurant Owner's Association has decided to reduce the prices of several products, following the LP Gas price revision that came in to effect from midnight on Tuesday (4).
Accordingly, the prices of Fried Rice, Rice and Curry, and Kottu will be reduced by 20%.
The Chairman of the Ceylon Restaurant Owner's Association Asela Sampath said that a packet of Fried Rice, Rice and Curry, and Kottu sold for Rs. 500/- will be reduced by Rs. 100/-.
In addition, the price of a Plain Tea will be reduced by Rs. 10/- to Rs. 30/-.
The price of a cup of Milk Tea will be fixed at Rs. 90/-.
The Chairman of the Ceylon Restaurant Owner's Association Asela Sampath said that it is not possible to reduce the prices of other products until bakeries are provided with eggs at a cost of Rs. 35/- per egg.
