The Elections Commission has stated that six out of the 35 presidential candidates are yet to submit their assets and liabilities declarations.
Commissioner General of Elections, Saman Sri Ratnayake has said that all assets and liabilities declarations should be submitted by the beginning of January next year.
He has said the six candidates, who are yet to declare their assets, are not among the leading candidates contesting the presidential election next month.
